27 December 2020 16:12Miriam isn't going to spend literal decades endlessy pining for her first ever boyfriend, unable and unwilling to move on.
(Technically, Miriam's very first boyfriend is most likely still alive, he just doesn't appear in the story at all, but I'm already considering to very spitefully kill him off in the backstory. Miriam would be still sad, of course, but she wouldn't spend her life eternally mourning him.)
Also, Miriam is very textually bi and has girlfriends too. Probably more girlfriends than boyfriends, even.
(I mean, if some nonexistent rich friend buys me a certain Barbie/Ken set, I'm not turning the gift down. But they're going on one date at most and agreeing afterwards they'd rather be platonic friends. If that nonexistent rich friend buys me a certain female doll, though, she and Miriam are going to get together.)
