Terms and conditions of endeerment

Honestly, "The Eye on the Skullship" and "The Cartoon" are such nostalgic episodes to me. Like, of course TPTB didn't set out to parody the early nineties' Russian TV (especially the local TV programming). Obviously. But I watch and recognise what I'm familiar with. The theme music! The awful computer graphics! We want our program to look Cool and Hip, but it's barely possible on this budget - and then sometimes we do have money and use it all on some Special Effects that the future generations, if they ever get to see it, will find cringeworthy - but right now (that is, in early nineties) it looks pretty much like real actual magic...
