17 April 2024 14:51*Annie Lennox' voice* "Booping is easy, it's talking that scares me to death, oh yeah..."
Asking questions - already kinda scary. Being asked questions - immediately forgetting all the words not just in English, but in my actual language too.
People crave real interaction. Asks. Questions. Discussions. Meanwhile, I'd rather be hit with imaginary oversized cartoony cat's paws instead.

("But Hamilton is criiiinge! what are you dooooing?" - having fun, that's what I'm doing. Shut up.)
( some Goncharov nonsense under the cut )
Cut not because it's long (it's really not), but because it's Goncharov, and I understand people who are already being sick of it.

16 June 2022 15:21I'm aggressively ignoring the latest reoccurance of the "Mandatory Unnecessary Het Romance For Everyone!!!! (but let's make sure the actual canon main het couple can't share the screen ever!)" nonsense on The Running Show, but, tbh, I was worried something like that is going to happen, so - not surprised. Just... tired.

11 April 2022 15:37Some (two? three? more? can't say, don't remember) years ago:
"It's kinda like Hannibal, but with women!" - hmmm, maybe I'll check it, sounds like I might like it...
"It's soooooo much better than Hannibal, because women!!! Stop wasting your time on Hannibal and watch this instead!!!" - ...well, now I'm demotivated from checking it, thanks.
I mean, there also were other factors I stayed away, but "your show sucks, ours is better" is just not a good advertising strategy.
And looks like I made a correct choice not getting into that show after all.
(One of the benefits of giving up on figuring out what the fuck even is your gender: you don't have to care that some people on some lesbian sites might consider you A Bad Lesbian for, say, liking Eobard Thawne (gaspshockhorror!) and not worshipping Taylor Swift (or, in the olden times before a ceirtain writer disappointingly and infuriatingly went full terf, Hrmn Grngr). Or for not watching "correct" gay shows.)

18 March 2022 21:48Still around.
Also I found two audioplays from my childhood/early teenagehood that I already tried to find before, but wasn't able to.
ETA: three audioplays. Also found a not-very-awesome operetta - I remember loving the duet between the main romantic couple, and well, I still love it, but that's the only thing I remember fondly. Okay, some other songs are also nice. But the premise is... siiiiigh... The premise is that one cheated-on fairytale king decided to magically eradicate love in his kingdom... meaning heterosexual variety of love, of course, aka the only kind of love one was allowed to write operettas about (and the characters are not just all-straight but also all-white, obviously. Except for a wizard who is a horrible Eastern stereotype. Told you: not awesome). But, oh no! now the (all-white) people affected by the magic anti-love potion don't want to marry and, therefore, procreate! Will I be able to listen to this whole "het is forbidden forever, how awful" mess to the end or get bored before the end? We'll see.

18 October 2021 15:24Housekeeping notes:
"Witt Sirner's extramarital daughter Solange" isn't a character anymore. Sirner is now two different dead actors, but neither of them had a daughter. One almost had an adopted daughter, and she's the closest person to Solange from the initial drafts, but her name (and her mother's backstory) is different. There still is a character named Solange though, but she has pretty much nothing in common with draft!Solange.
Felim and Cezar (name still temporary, and it's not even either of his given names... though maybe that's exactly why I'll keep it) don't have stepbrothers anymore, that's a different storyline now, with (mostly) different characters.
