unsatisfactory_person1 - Harry dies.
a) we get a new Wells next season, half of the fandom predictably hates him;
b) we don't get a new Wells because TC leaves the show. Maybe comes back to direct an episode, but never appears onscreen anymore.
2 - Unnecessary Het Romance Out Of Nowhere strikes again and canon Harlize ensues. Sure, alive!Harry randomly assigned a True Love Forever he had only just met is better than dead!Harry. Still irritating.
a) even worse - Harry and Marlize proclaim their sudden love for each other and then both die.
3 - Dibny gets restored. Other bus metas stay dead forever and the next season the show forgets about them entirely.
a) he stays as a regular;
b) turns out that Caitlin was secretly in love with him all along. Also we find out that (one of) her middle name(s) is Susan.
4) Marlize redeems her husband with the ~power of her love~ and they get back together. Everything is forgiven and forgotten.
5) Marlize dies, and that's what leads DeVoe to come to his senses and perform a remorseful heel-face-turn.
a) then it turns out that it was always what TPTB had planned - to redeem DeVoe by murdering Marlize.
6) The Speedster Girl turns out to be not Dawn West-Allen, possibly not even a West-Allen at all. Snbrr shippers are gleeful and treat it as their personal victory for some reasons. A number of younger Westalleners take the revelation as a personal insult and not just quit watching the show, but start posting calls for its boycott and maybe even cancellation.
