The danger of writing and rewriting and abandoning and starting again the same story for decades: priorities change. Raoul was always supposed to be only a fake protagonist, a seeming love interest for Brandt sisters (neither of whom actually wanted him), but I tried to care about him nonetheless. But now I feel like lost any interest in him and only want to write about Felim. And Leif. And Felim/Leif. And the still-nameless antagonist. (Well, dude-wise, I mean. It's still mostly the story of/about the female characters.)
