When I was in university, I used to just copy my favourite quotes and sometimes the whole paragraphs over to my notebooks, usually with proper attribution, but occasionally without, and now I sometimes have anxiety attacks that one day after my death someone gets their hands on one of those notebooks, sees an unattributed quote, recognizes it and decides I've been trying to cassclaire it up.
