Yeah, yeah, Torchwood has tons of bi representation (of varying quality)... and all those people were RTD's OCs. The Doctor isn't, he was the pre-existing character before RTD brought him back and could theoretically do whatever he could to him (just like Loki is a pre-existing character from comics and movies), and somehow brave RTD didn't go and and spent several episodes establishing him as a Textual Canon Genderfluid Bisexual. Subtext with Master is exactly that - subtext. And it's Jack who kissed Nine, not the other way around. Jack isn't the main character on DW.

Or maybe he tried? maybe something - various someones - stopped him from doing everything he wanted? Well, did he consider that "someones" could also prevent Loki writers from doing everything they wanted to do with the character? Or maybe he didn't even try because that wasn't really the story he wanted to tell, and the story he did want to tell was all about ROSEROSEROSE? When it comes to shows in which the main male character falls for a blonde woman and not for a dude*, I'll take Loki/Sylvie romance over Ten/Rose romance any time, any day. Always.

Also, Kate Herron is bi.

*(Sure, canon Loki/Mobius would be nice too. Canon Loki/Mobius isn't ever gonna happen... probably. Most likely. Would be nice to be proven wrong on that point, but not holding my breath.)

Basically - yes, Loki has problems. All the Black characters being antagonists is a more serious problem than "they never show Loki kissing a dude". (Though there's still the next season, we still theoretically might get heroic Ravonna or B-15, or even some new heroic Black characters). And both Loki and Silvie being established as bi in a throwaway line is still them being established as bi. I don't believe we were intentionally fed crumbs by writers, I believe crumbs are what we were allowed to get by Disney.
