I didn't want to, because I felt it will be bad for whatever mental health I still have. Turned out, being cut from everything and everyone (that is, everyone I don't know offline) is bad for it too.

Honestly, Tumblr's (to immediately clarify: the site's, not the userbase's) "encouraging" comments that appear when you click "follow" sound weirdly like flat sarcasm: "You're following (insert url here). What a great decision." "Great. Now you're following (another url)."
