It's weird when it happens - so there was someone famous, and now they're gone, and you weren't even really a fan - yes, I liked that one movie, that one song, but they didn't change my life; sad, tragic, horrible, but it feels in a somewhat detached way...

...but there's some person somewhere whom you know, or only kind-of-know but care about nonetheless, and for them the famous dead someone was very important, and meant a lot to them, and so you see the news and realise, oh no, that one person - that person must be devastated...

And the tears start.

Been brushing my teeth before going out, saw my reflection in the mirror and realised that my toothbrush, my t-shirt, and the towel behind me are exactly the same shade of green. Colour-coordinated without even trying.

(When was I ever trying, though? I'm either wearing black-on-black-on-black or every colour of the rainbow at once.)
