I'm a jerk. HR would be so disappointed in me.

I don't hate Barry. No, really, I don't. On a scale of Heroic Main Characters he's nowhere near the "I'd personally help the villain to vanquish you and would never feel any regret about doing so" end. I just like him less than I used to. And like some other characters much more than him. Which is still not the same as "hating" him.

But some fans' reaction to the finale makes me want to start loudly proclaiming my actually-nonexistent eternal hatred of Barry Alllen just out of spite. People who have always hated Wally, people who have always hated HR - well, they still hate HR and seem even more angry at Wally's mere existence now, and I can't find in myself any sympathy for them. They're still getting what they want the next season. Or the next after the next at most. (Yeah, right. As if the current situation will last that long.)

I don't hate Barry, no. I'm just really, really tired. And bitter.
